Don't Search For The Word That Says It All
If the word is that important to your scene, then possibly one word is not enough to give the reader the impact of what is happening. One word is read too quickly to give the reader the powerful energy you are trying to portray. Use a few sentences instead. Give the reader more of the picture, let him absorb more of the action.

I don't have a clear example of this, but I'll do my best:

"Mallory perpetrated the act with cold malice."

It has all the right words, but no impact.

"Mallory did it. He did it with hate, and without remorse."
